1. I came to college because I always dreamed of going to college, college was such a big deal to my parents because none of my older siblings graduated high school or went to college. I am the first in the family and i hope i can be a role model to my younger brother who seems to be slacking off of school.
2. The best experience I've had in college was my HUP102 class with Dr. Seiple, he made class so enjoyable and used real life situations in his course. Critical thinking helped me solve my own personal issues after the real life situations were broke down.
3. The most challenging experience I've had was my SSS100 class, the class was writing intense and so much vocabulary and theories. Although this class was a struggle, I've learned a lot in this course. But be prepared whoever is going to take to course, stay on your feet and be prepared for loads of work.
4. My greatest accomplishment this semester was getting "B" averages in most of my courses. I worked hard and did all my assignments. Did well on exams and studied. I haven't been like this since freshman year of high school but I am proud of myself.
5. If I could do something differently I would have been enrolled at city tech, I have nothing against LaGuardia . My alternative High School counselor recommended community colleges, and I was upset a bit but he advised me to attend a community college for one year and then transfer to city tech but I'm having a few obstacles that are standing the way like mat096.
6. Next semester i would like to take at least 15 credits, I currently have 9 and I will gain 6 in the session 2. So by june/july I will have a total of 30 credits.

My best advice for a freshman is to register early! Don't wait till the last minute, you'll get a horrible schedule so register early to your life style. whether your a early bird or all nighter get a schedule your flexible with. Another thing don't come to class thinking its a high school, please. For the sake of the professors and classmates. Take a listen to the lecture, take notes, do your assignments/projects on time and come to class. I know it sounds typical but it works. Put effort into your work and you will pass.

My semester so far has a been a great one, all of my professors are great. They are really down to earth people. They'll help you after class and online if they can. They make themselves available for concerns. That's what i really like about this past semester. Also my flexible schedule was great, that's why i tell every one to register early.
